Tonight we have another new book – Just Voices: Popular Favourites - our first foray into the proper ‘a cappella’ world. We will also be singing some Black Eyed Peas and a little bit of Bonnie Tyler.

We are now looking for an accompanist who can help us progress to singing a wider range of music set to piano accompaniment. Musical Director, Caroline Edwards, says “The Singers are very keen to expand their repertoire and for this I need the assistance of an accompanist. Grade 7+ pianists are preferred given the requirement to be able to pick up music quickly and pay the notes for the singers to learn. There are no auditions, no requirements to read music and no experience necessary. Just turn up and Thursday in term time at Dorridge Junior School (Hanbury Road entrance) at 7:30pm. Our rehearsal times are 7:30 – 9:15 each Thursday. The first week is FREE and after that it’s £3 perweek for adults and £2 for anyone in full time education.
